Kiln Drying
We operate our own kilns and, when capacity allows, offer a kiln-drying service for customers' timber. Each of our two kilns can accommodate up to 75m³ of timber (up to 3 inches thick), depending on the material dimensions.

This is a trade service intended for commercial-scale quantities rather than small, DIY loads.
Air Drying
Freshly sawn timber is carefully stacked with spacers to allow air to circulate naturally around each board. Depending on the species and thickness, the timber is left to season outdoors for between 9 and 12 months, gradually reducing its moisture content before kiln drying or machining. This slower process helps minimise stress within the timber and preserves its natural character.

Air drying is an essential first stage in producing stable, high quality timber for flooring, joinery and furniture applications.
Timber Storage
We can also offer secure timber storage for customers who need somewhere safe and suitable to keep their stock. Timber is stored with care to help protect it from damage, moisture and unnecessary movement, with its condition looked after throughout its time with us. Whether you need short- or longer-term storage, we aim to keep your timber safe, organised and ready for when you need it.
